Use the iBanFirst MCP with Claude
Connect the iBanFirst MCP Connector to Claude and ask questions about your wallets, payments, and FX rates in plain language — in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code.
Before you start, make sure you have your iBanFirst Token ID and Token Password (see Before you start).
Requirements
- A Claude plan that supports custom connectors (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

FAQ
For questions common to every AI assistant (login, credentials, multiple companies, read-only access), see the MCP Connector FAQ.
I don't have admin access to add the connector — what should I do?
If your organization uses a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, custom connectors can only be added by an organization owner. Ask your IT admin to add the iBanFirst MCP connector as a custom connector once, using the URL https://mcp.ibanfirst.com/mcp. This is a one-time setup — once the connector is added at the organization level, every user can connect it individually with their own Token ID and Token Password.
I don't see the "iBanFirst MCP" connector in the list
The connector appears in the list only once it has been added, by you or by your organization admin, as a custom connector. Ensure you are using a Claude plan that supports custom connectors, then add it with the URL https://mcp.ibanfirst.com/mcp.
Claude Code says the MCP is not connected when working with my Excel file
If Claude Code returns an error stating the MCP is not connected while you're working on an Excel file, the file may be locked by Excel while it's open. Save your work, close the Excel file completely, and reopen it before running the command again. This forces Excel to release its lock and lets the MCP reconnect properly.
Claude Code keeps asking me to authenticate
Run /mcp, select ibanfirst and choose Authenticate again. If the problem persists, remove and re-add the server with claude mcp remove ibanfirst followed by the claude mcp add command above.
